Stanley H. Blicht - CPA, Managing Partner joined our firm in 1979 after spending 14 years, including seven years as a partner with a major New York-based firm which merged during his tenure with another large national firm. With over 30 years experience as an independent public accountant, Mr. Blicht is a broad-based generalist, whose extensive background in accounting,
auditing and taxes complements his in-depth knowledge of real estate matters and SEC procedures. He has been extensively involved in working with
clients to assist them in matters dealing with estate planning, business
successions and finance.
Steven H. Eyerman - CPA joined our firm in 1978, after serving with several large firms in New York City. An accountant for more than
30 years, Mr. Eyerman's diversified experience includes a substantial
concentration in all phases of real estate activity, including the unique tax and audit services rendered to real estate management firms and syndications and to congregate care facilities of all sizes. He has extensive experience, as well, in various finance-related areas, including small business lending and equipment leasing companies and with accounting for not-for-profit
entities. Mr. Eyerman also has a long history of community involvement, serving
voluntarily as treasurer for several local community organizations.
Joseph M. Herzog - CPA has approximately 23 years of accounting and auditing experience, including eight years with large regional
firms. His diversified auditing experience has been concentrated in manufacturing and special investigations, serving clients from a broad variety of industries, in particular, the apparel, manufacturing, medical and importing industries. In addition to his experience with independent public accounting firms, Mr. Herzog was president of a management consulting firm during the 1980's, employing creative financing strategies and venture capital to raise funds for corporate entities. He is an active member, treasurer and a Board of Director of several civic associations and numerous professional organizations.
Morton Farber - CPA, founding partner and now a consultant to the firm; has over 40 years experience as an independent public
accountant. Prior to 1977 -- when he formed the firm that became Farber, Blicht, Eyerman & Herzog, LLP -- he spent 17 years with the same national firm as Mr. Blicht. For 13 of those years, he served as a senior partner and a member of the firm's executive board. Mr. Farber's accounting background encompasses virtually all facets of the profession, including auditing, taxes, acquisitions and mergers, public offerings, tender offers and other activities related, in particular, to the needs of public companies.
Brad P. Bernstein - CPA joined the firm in 1993, was promoted to Manager in 1998 and was most recently appointed Partner in 2001. His expertise includes business consulting and tax planning for closely held companies, as well as accounting, auditing and tax compliance. Mr. Bernstein has cultivated strong relationships within a variety of industries, such as healthcare and assisted living facilities, advertising and tradeshow companies, professional service firms, distributors, and commercial leasing.
As a CPA, he maintains memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Mr. Bernstein is an active member with the Long Island Advertising Club, the Hauppauge Industrial Association, and other civic associations.
Marc P. Blicht - CPA joined Farber, Blicht, Eyerman & Herzog, LLP in 1996 and was appointed partner in 2001. In his previous capacity with a national New York City accounting firm, he served clients in real estate, financial services, professional services, apparel and advertising. In addition to his accounting and business skills, Mr. Blicht possesses in-depth knowledge of business management and tax planning.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and a number of professional and civic organizations.
